About 80 representatives from industry, agencies, universities and others met on SMaRC Day 2020 on February 5 at the KTH Campus.
Pontus de Laval (senior advisor at Saab, Knut och Alice Wallenbergs Stiftelse and SEB) spoke about new challenges in underwater research, and Peter Sigray (co-principal investigator of SMaRC) presented the present state of SMaRC.
During the poster and mingle session, the SMaRC research teams presented their work within underwater perception, autonomy, endurance and communication, and showed the research demonstrator robots SAM and LoLo.
The day ended with a simulation of an upcoming demo.
