To acclimatize and get to know our new colleagues, we went out on a hike to the Foxfonna glacier, together with a husky! Over 60% of the land area in Svalbard is covered by glaciers, which have left behind exciting morraine landscapes, sediments and rapid rivers in their wake as they retreat.
We walked on the glacier, hiked down the moraines to the Advent valley, and our husky friend was a bundle of energy and motivation. 😊
